Skerries has been selected to become one of the next Autism Friendly Towns under the AsIAm initiative.
We are a group of people, some of whom have children on the Autism Spectrum coming together with the common goal of building AWARENESS in Skerries, to EDUCATE the whole community, so that those living with Autism can be EMPOWERED to play an INCLUSIVE part in their own town.
We were inspired by the great town of Clonakilty who were accredited as being Ireland’s first Autism Friendly Town. We will be updating you on our journey to achieving this status and will keep you informed on all upcoming events in the calendar year.
