Firstly, as a Steering Committee we hope that you and your families are keeping well and that the impact of the last number of months, coping with COVID19, has not been too hard on you and your families. In response to queries from a number of individuals regarding where we are with our plans for 2020, we want to take this opportunity to update you on our progress. In keeping with the rest of the country and various other organisations we have had to effectively put many of our plans on hold for the first half of the year.
We are now happy to report that we are reinvigorating our plans for the remainder of 2020. The committee have started to meet, in a socially distant way, over recent weeks. The main focus for SAFT over the next month or so will be to refresh and prioritize the list of initiatives that we hope to deliver in 2020. Once this planning work is complete, we will post updates on our social media sites. We look forward to regenerating momentum in our ambition to make Skerries an Autism Friendly Town.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have offered to help in multiple ways and we will certainly call on you as we drive out the plan for our town over the coming weeks, months and indeed years.
